Using Larger Images as Background Stamps with Inspired By Stamping

I’m so happy to be here with my second post as a Guest Designer for Inspired By Stamping! As I mentioned in my previous post, I am a 21 year old bedbound crafter who loves card making, painting and music (often combing the three) and creating has become a form of Physiotherapy. I live in rural Northumberland and I am so pleased that spring is just around the corner! Since my last post, the snow drops have bloomed in my garden and I can see the shoots of daffodils starting to peek out – it seems like ages since I’ve seen flowers in the garden! Anyway, without the colourful flowers in the garden, I have used the Poppies stamp set today – they are my favourite flower!

I had originally intended this post to just be one card… however, I kept thinking of ideas for cards – so I kept creating and I’ve got three videos (you lucky things 😉 ) for three cards showing how the larger images, which I would typically just use as the focal point of my card, can be used to create backgrounds. For all of these cards, masks are essential – I don’t have any specific masking paper so I just used some post-it notes and you’ll see later how I combat the stamp being too big for the label.

I have loved being a guest designer for Inspired By Stamping and using their wonderful products. I hope you have enjoyed reading my post and watching the videos.

Happy crafting,

Emma x
