Today, I have a card, which is quite different for me – no coloured image! It is all about the sentiment. This card was created for the challenge starting over at Moving Along With The Times today – “Semtiment as a Focal Point” – chosen by Christine.
I began by using three of the nesting square from a set of dies from The Works; one of vellum, patterned paper, and Kraft card. Into the Kraft card, I used a set of dies, also from The Works, which create a cute doily pattern. After using the same die with patterned paper, I adhered some foam tape to the back of the Kraft square – this allowed me to easily inlay the small pieces of the die cut, alternating between the paper and the Kraft card.
I then die cut my sentiment, the Avery Elle script Thank you, from black card and adhered it to black foam. After attaching the various layers, I cut my card base to 5.5″ x 5.5″ and, of course, wrapped around yellow thread – my favourite finishing touch 🙂
If you’d like to enter your card into this fortnight’s challenge at Moving Along With The Times, make sure you enter your creation before Wednesday 27th September, 6pm BST.
Thanks for popping by,
